“It’s difficult work running a successful airline operation,” American President Robert Isom said while accepting the award. “With millions of customers relying on them to take them where they need to go, our 7,300 team members at LAX perform brilliantly every day, and they’re the reason I’m standing here tonight.”
American was one of LAX’s first commercial carriers and the airline continues to grow and strengthen its presence of 70-plus years at the hub through significant direct and indirect investments in the region.
