There was some encouraging news for the aviation industry coming out of the World Economic Forum today with the two main manufacturers of aircraft, Airbus and Boeing, making it into the top 50 most innovative companies in the world (coming in at 33rd and 34th respectively).

Considering how many companies there are in the world, this is certainly no mean feat. Since the beginning of air travel, the aviation industry has been at the forefront of technical innovation, so it’s great to see that some things don’t change. We fully expect these manufacturers, and their colleagues at Bombardier and Embraer, to keep on innovating for years to come!
